Break the Ice this Winter with the Alpaca Frost
Knitwear Collection by Samantha Holmes
Add a “glint of frost” to your new Winter scarf and gloves

Alpaca Accessories Designer Samantha Holmes has given a sparkling edge to her collection for Autumn Winter 2017 which will be launching online 26 June 2017 for trade pre-orders. Finding inspiration in the contrasting textures and resonant hues of Scotland’s west coast, Samantha has created a cool casual mood by blending metallic thread with sultry blue and grey boucle marls and a fun vibrant accent by adding a splash of neon. The new collection skilfully ties in with many AW17-18 fashion trends and represents a strong commercial offer for the upmarket independent fashion and lifestyle market.

The collection includes ‘Boucle Frost’, a boho-style range of textured berets with smoky alpaca fur pompoms, matching tiered scarves and long gloves and ‘Preppy’, a crisp classic range of garter stitch scarves and matching beanie hats with on trend neon orange and hot pink stripes. The brand’s bestselling Travel Shawl Pillow will see a new frosted edition, as will the favourite Multiway Poncho, Fur Pom Pom scarves and wraps.

Buyers are invited to browse and place orders via the fully comprehensive online Trade Order Platform at www.samanthaholmes.com. In line with the growing trend for multi-channel retail, the platform hosts an Image Gallery for downloading hi res photos for social media and websites. The range can be viewed at the Ellen Armstrong Showroom which will be running from 19 July until 4 August at Asia House. Appointments must be made by arrangement direct with Ellen at ellen@ellenarmstrong.com. Deliveries will be staggered August – October depending on order date.

Understated, timeless and versatile, Samantha Holmes has been designing alpaca knitwear and gifts from her home in Scotland since 2003. Samantha only uses finest spun alpaca yarns
which are uniquely soft, insulating and hypoallergenic. They are also ‘pill resistant’ and hard wearing. The natural, subdued colours of the Scottish Highland and Coastal scenery she loves can be seen throughout Samantha’s range. Each item is beautifully made and finished by hand by skilled artisans in Peru, with whom Samantha has worked directly for 15 years.
Alpaca was once treasured by Inca Royalty and continues to please a discerning audience to this day.
