Delivery
Please note the delivery terms below apply to Personal Shoppers. If you are a Trade customer, please use the Trade Login, or shop with us on Faire, via the widget at the bottom of this page.
All orders are despatched from our warehouse in Scotland in the UK. If you are requiring delivery outside the UK, you may have to pay customs charges - please see below.
UK DELIVERIES
We despatch most orders within 48 hours of receiving order notification. You will receive a despatch confirmation by email from us, and one from our warehouse with a tracking link. If you do not receive an email, or have not received your goods within 5 working days please email us mail@samanthaholmes.com. Delivery to non-mainland addresses will take longer.
UK Postage Charge for Orders under £75: £5.95
UK Postage of £75 or over: Free of Charge
UK Express Delivery Charge: £8.95
Please note our order cut off is 11am, so any order notifications received after this time may not be despatched that day.
OVERSEAS DELIVERIES
Your order will be despatched from the UK using either Fedex, DHL or Royal Mail International Signed For. Our warehouse selects the best option for your location. You will receive a despatch confirmation by email from us, and one from our warehouse with a tracking link. If you do not receive an email, or have not received your goods within 10 working days please email us mail@samanthaholmes.com. If delivery address is different from your own, please provide the email address and telephone number of the recipient when you place your order.
Transport Costs are calculated automatically and will appear at checkout once you have entered the delivery address details. Heavier items such as our fur throws and large orders, containing multiple items may require an additional carriage charge. We will contact you to advise and arrange additional payment.
Value Added Tax (MWT, TVA, GST etc)
UK VAT (20%) is automatically deducted from your order when you enter a delivery address outside the UK.
You may then be required to pay your own country or state’s local sales tax, which is typically calculated on the total of your order value, shipping cost, and any applicable import duties.
As our alpaca products are lightweight and compact, shipping costs (and therefore the taxable amount) are kept as low as possible.
The courier will contact you directly (usually by email) to arrange payment of any local taxes and, where applicable, import duties.
US Import Duties
If you’re ordering from the USA, we recommend placing your order in US Dollars.
Our Dollar pricing includes import duties, so there’s nothing additional to pay when your goods arrive. To help support our US customers, we are currently absorbing a significant portion of these costs rather than passing them on in full.
Orders placed in GBP are not duty-paid, and the courier will contact you separately to arrange payment of import duties.
EU Import Duties
If you’re ordering from the EU, we recommend placing your order in Euros.
Our Euro pricing includes import duties, so there are no additional duty charges on arrival. You will only need to pay your local Sales Tax (VAT), which the courier will request via a payment link before delivery. Please note that UK VAT (20%) is not charged on these orders.

Couriers are unable to deliver goods until any required taxes or duties have been paid.
